Connoisseur Classics offers serious classical music lovers around the world music not readily available from other classical outlets. We explore music from the Middle Ages to the 21st Century; works rarely performed; full-length, obscure operas; out-of-print recordings; and works by little-known composers. In short, "Connoisseur Classics" will present "alternative" classical music, designed for the more sophisticated and adventurous listener. Our week is divided into themed days: Monday will be devoted to chamber and instrumental music; Tuesday to the best in light classics; Wednesday to symphonic music; Thursday will feature music for winds and brass; Friday will offer great historical performances; Saturday to opera; and Sunday will feature mostly choral and organ music.
