A native of Norfolk, Lynn grew up in Baltimore where he studied music at the Peabody Conservatory and earned a bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts from Towson State University. He then went on to work on the management staffs of Center Stage, the Maryland Ballet, and a chamber orchestra unit of the Baltimore Symphony.
